Mat - H

The Aqua-Mat- H ow regulator working principle is based on the adjustment of a defined flow section with a control gate valve depending on the respective upstream water level.

The gate valve closes if the water level upstream of the gate valve rises. Therefore, the flow is maintained at a constant rate, although the upstream water pressure increases.

Further, the controls of the Aqua-Mat- H are programmed that a set upstream water level value is not exceeded. Should that level be reached the control switches from flow regulation mode to water level regulation mode.

During water level regulaton mode always the amount of water is directed to the treatment plant that ensures that the water level threshold is not exceeded.

The accuracy of the Aqua-Mat- H flow regulator mainly depends on the knowledge of the flow coefficient of the selected gate valve. Since even large gate valve manufacturers provide only very little information, we can determine the flow coefficient, if unknown, onsite with a comparison measurement.

  • Electronic control gate valve to adjust the flow section
  • Control cabinet to house control system components
  • Ultra-sonic sensor to measure the upstream water level
  • Control software for comfortable adjustment of the regulating functions
